Olney Cubs fall to the Quanah Indians

Olney Cubs fall to the Quanah Indians at the Friday night football game in Quanah Oct. 4.

The Cubs traveled to Quanah to mount an athletic skirmish with the Indians with full support from Cub Nation. Despite fan support, the Indians dominated the first half of the game. However, after the Cubs left the locker room to begin the second half, you could see a fire had been lit because the Cubs mounted a comeback.

In the fourth quarter, the Cubs outscored Quanah 13 to 7, which gave Cub fans a positive outlook--scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and one touchdown in the previous quarter.

Although the Cubs appeared to be passionate about every play, they couldn’t catch up, which resulted in a loss--Cubs-19, Indians-47.
