Newcastle Bobcats Play in State Championships

The Newcastle Bobcats, district champs, played the Aquilla Cougars in Strawn Friday, Nov. 16, in the 2018 State Championships. The Bobcats went into the State Championships with a record of 4-0 in their district and 7-4 overall. The Cougars went in with a 3-1 record district and 7-6 overall. The final score was Cougars 74 and Bobcats 24. The Cougar win brought the Bobcats season to a premature end.
