JV Cubs Tame the Lions

Thursday September 26, the mighty Cubs hosted the Vernon Lions for what became a battle of wills. After a great defensive battle #12 Cole Turner caught a long pass and ran it in with seconds to go to give the Cubs the victory over the Lions. Final score was Cubs-20 and Lions-14.

The future of the Cubs looks bright and hopeful with a very talented JV team and an impressive 8th grade Olney Junior High team climbing the ranks to varsity in the next few years. The Cubs really need the support of the community win or lose. These young men work and train very hard and never give up every single week.
