Cubs vs Wildcats

The Olney Cubs hosted the Archer City Wildcats Jan. 22 for the next round of district play. The Cubs fought hard but failed to keep up with the Wildcats on offense and defense and fell to the Wildcats. Final score Cubs 23, Wildcats 55.

Highlights from the game include No. 2 Knight scoring a bucket and one free-throw, No. 3 Coleman hitting for three from the outside, No. 4 Scrogum scoring 5 points, No. 10 Buffington sinking a bucket, No. 12 Turner driving through defenders for 4 points and making one freethrow and No. 24 Kulhanek scoring three free-throws and sinking one bucket.
