The OHS Seniors from the Cub Football team, POOHS Band and Cheerleaders celebrated Senior Night during the Cubs last football game of the season. The Cubs would not be denied a final victory on their special night beating the Winters Blizzards 35-6. #22 Angel Alvarado was escorted by Dolores Godinez and Vico Alvarado
OHS Cub #5 Jose Castillo was escorted by Bernice Zarzoza and Jose Castillo Sr. Jose played wide receiver and defensive end for the Cubs for 4 years.
OHS Cubs #56 Noah Enriquez was escorted by Ruby and Malaquias Enriquez. Noah played right tackle and defensive end for the Cubs for 4 years.
OHS Cub #66 Benny Fuselier was escorted by Melissa Scott. Benny played guard and defensive tackle for the Cubs for 6 years and was known for his outstanding sportsmanship.
OHS Cub #55 Jordan Jacoba was escorted by Michael and Angela Jacoba. Jordan played left guard and defensive tackle for 4 years for the Cubs.
OHS Cub #33 Cye Dixon was escorted by Celeste and Cody Dixon. Cye played running back and linebacker for the Cubs for 6 years. Cye said his favorite memory was his eighth-grade Cub game against the Chico Dragons.
OHS Cub #11 Braulio Flores was escorted by Juanis and Carlos Flores. Braulio played wide receiver and cornerback for the Cubs for 4 years. Braulio plans to join the workforce and his favorite memory is the first time he made the playoffs with the Cubs.
OHS Cub #6 Jacob Hernandez was escorted by Christian and Maribel Hernandez. Jacob played quarterback and safety for 4 years with the Cubs. Jacob plans to attend MSU to earn a degree in finance. His favorite memory is being a part of the Cubs run to the Bi-District Championship and winning.
OHS Cub #7 Colin Mason was escorted by Randy Mason. Colin played running back and cornerback for the Cubs for 4 years and won the Cub Pride award during his sophomore year. Colin plans to earn an associate’s degree and pursue a position on a college football team.
OHS Cub #52 Rodolfo Xavier Arce was escorted by Gloria Jimenez. Rodolfo was the Cubs offense tackle and defensive end. Rodolfo plans to attend Texas A&M University to study computer engineering. His favorite memory was when a team mate jumped into a puddle during a practice when it was snowing.
