Cross country runners compete at Lipan

Olney High School went to Lipan on Oct. 13 along with going to Seymour on Oct. 20 with Olney Junior High to compete in Cross Country.

“All runners that competed at the Lipan meet this week did exceptionally well!,” Coach Mollie Pace said.

“For the boys - Jaxx Laurent had the best time with a 19:06 and for the girls, Ava Stewart had the best time with a 14:23. These runners have been putting in the work and it is paying off. They are doing a great job of prepping for District.”

The remaining times for the high school Lipan meet are as follows for the girls: Simmons 14:32, Lawrence - 15:51, Jeske - 16:41; and for the boys: Lane - 19:06, Gonzales - 23:02.

For the high school Seymour meet, the fastest boy was Laurent with a time of 22:15, and for the girls it was Simmons with a time of 15:13. The rest of the times for boys are as follows: Gonzales - 22:18, Lane - 23:13, Organ - 25:28, Edgington - 26:22, Key - 27:53;and for the girls: Stewart 15:22, Lawence - 17:58, Jeske - 19:10.

The rest of the times are as follows: Wesley Symank - 14:22, Halee Craven - 17:15, Oaklan Hopkins - 17:19, Abram Dinwiddie - 17:43, Renata Chavez - 18:49, Pedro Gonzales - 19:58, and Leah Galindo - 23:10.
