Finding Time

A few weeks ago, I wrote about going hiking at a local park in Tulsa. Since then, I have continued to go back every week but I have decided to make exercise and working out a daily activity in general.

I have always exercised but the last six months I have not exercised daily like I have in the past. Since getting into this new daily routine, I feel much better, healthier, and am shedding the pounds. I have always been active growing up playing sports as a kid even through high school and college. But now being out of college with a full-time job and working on my Masters, it can be difficult to find time. I’ve always been a believer that you will find time for the things that are the most important to you, and I finally decided to get into my old daily routine of exercise at least one hour every day. Some days I run, jog, and walk, other days I lift weights, and some of the time I get exercise playing basketball and tennis!

I know sometimes as people we talk about doing these things, but never actually getting around to doing it...I have been there, and I encourage of all you to find time for yourself, and make sure you stay healthy for a long and happy life!
