So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

At this time, it is very easy to get wrapped up in the media hype about the Corona pandemic. With so much of the media focusing on the negativity and worse case scenarios its easy to fall into a panic over the pandemic.

It is more important than ever to put our trust in the Lord during these times of tribulations. Proverbs 3:5 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

Many times, while going through adverse conditions we might forget this simple scripture. If you truly put your trust in the Jesus you will find a certain peace will come over you. Before I fully put my faith in Jesus, I would worry a lot about finances, work related things or my health. As I trust the Lord with more of my problems, I found that I would worry les and less. It took me many years of practice to fully turn over all my problems to the Lord but as anyone who knows me, they know I worry very little about anything. It’s not because I don’t care its quite the opposite, I just put all my problems in the Hands of Jesus and trust that he will and can handle any situation.

Psalms 6-8 says “He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.” If Our Lord Jesus Christ can create a Universe and all that is in it, he can surely take care of our problems.

Put your faith in Jesus, pray to him and give him all your problems and trust that he will deliver you from your problems. God has a plan and God also has his own time for his plans. We may not always see right away the answer or the results but that is where Our faith must be. In the knowing he will take care of all your worries. We should strive to be Christlike in our daily dealings. We Christians are not perfect and will stumble but as long as we pray daily and trust in the Lord everything will work out for the best.
