YCFB Donates to Four Agencies

The Young County Farm Bureau (YCFB) is joining the Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) to assist those who are in need of food, as well as those who provide that food.

County Farm Bureaus across the state are working with restaurants, catering businesses or similar entities to help provide meals to those in need. These meals or food items are being delivered to those in need by working through a local food bank or other food-relief entity. The YCFB donated $4,000 ($1,000 to each entity) for their food-related projects.

“The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created real food hardships for many in our community,” said Stacey K. Rogers. “We’re proud to be a part of the Farm Bureau Feeding Texas program and doing what we can to help those in our community,” Rogers added.

YCFB is working with the Olney Senior Cub Center and Newcastle First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Backpack Program. The other two entities they are also working with are located in Graham; Backpack Buddies and Meals on Wheels.
