Newcastle High School enjoyed a parade packed with Bobcat pride that ended at the High School for a game and Queen and Hunk Ceremony.

Texoma Gives is an online fund raiser that comes around once a year and last for 24-hours. The goal is to give centralized time for all non-profits in the Texoma area to focus on getting donors excited about giving. The yearly fund raiser is billed as an online fund raiser but many
non-profits taking part in the event host live events to correspond at physical locations with the online event.

“Raise Craze” is the new fundraiser for Olney Elementary School, and students are “paying it forward” by doing acts of kindness for a good cause. Beginning Sept. 11 and continuing for two weeks, students performed acts of kindness for every donation by the community. Examples of kindness pledges include cleaning up trash, holding doors open for others, giving compliments, reading to others, and helping bilingual students at school.
