Olney High School students observe Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week was celebrated at OISD on the week of October 23-27.
Red Ribbon Week shows the importance of living a drug-free life, and is one of the largest drug-use prevention campaigns in the U.S.
OISD does school dress-up days during the week as a way to add a fun incentive.
The schedule was: Monday: “Put a cap on drugs!” Wear a cap/hat; Tuesday: “Be a hero, don’t do drugs!” Wear superhero attire; Wednesday: “Don’t let drugs ruin your future!” Wear college gear or career attire; Thursday: “Your choices are the key to your dreams!” Wear pajamas; and Friday: “Olney Cubs are proud to be drug free!” Wear red.
OES and OJH shared the same Red Ribbon Week dress up schedule.
