Olney Fire Dept. Gives Back

The Olney Volunteer Fire Department (OVFD) is partnering with the United States Marine Corps on the 2018 Toys for Tots® Children’s Christmas Toy Drive. The OVFD has been a part of this fundraiser for more than 40 years.

Toy collection boxes labeled Toys for Tots® are located at various locations around Olney for anyone who would like to donate a new, unwrapped toy. Some of the locations that have collection boxes are: Cub Drug, First State Bank, InterBank, First Baptist Church and Olney Enterprise.

If you would like your child to receive a toy from Toys for Tots®, the eligibility requirements are:

1) The child must be 12 years old or younger and

2) The child must be a resident of Olney.

The sign-up deadline is Dec. 7, and the signup forms are located at the schools and Olney Enterprise. Also, you may use the form located on Page 2.

The toy pickup will occur Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
