Junior Altruistic Serves Breakfast for Badges

The Junior Altruistic Club hosted their annual “Breakfast for Badges” Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Hometown Coffee & Tea. They use this event to say thank you to all the men and women who serve our community.

Connie Horany, Karen Craig and Melody Rogers served a variety of breakfast burritos and cinnamon rolls for the police officers, deputies, volunteer firefighters and EMS technicians. The servicemen and servicewomen were also able to order whatever type of coffee they wanted and put it on a tab which the Junior Altruistic Club paid.

“We appreciate you all for your service to our community, thank you,” Karen Craig said to those who attended and those who were unable to attend.

The next event for the Altruistic Club will be the Park Workday April 3.
