High School construction project on schedule, set to be completed in February

The progress of the high school construction project was a topic on the agenda for the Oct. 8 school board meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Greg Roach provided details as to the progress to the school board.

“As of right now, the construction is on schedule to be completed in February,” he said.

The interior stud walls in the auditorium are being covered with gypsum board, the fire sprinkler pipe is being installed and the electrical room on the auditorium stage has been framed out. The new color scheme for the auditorium has also been selected.

The structural steel for the new administration offices has been erected and the metal roof has been instralled. The HVAC duct work for the band hall is also being installed.
