Filming resumes on Olney TV show

The crew behind the “Rural Route Revival” television show returned to Olney last week to film the start of construction on new homes on West Howard Street and West Oak Street.

The “Fixer Upper”-style show has been in the works since last summer after builders Lance and Corey Groves of Possum Kingdom had a chance meeting with County Judge Win Graham at the Young County Courthouse that produced the idea for shooting the first episodes in Olney for a show about affordable housing in rural Texas.
