Ex-gas station owners fined

The former owners of a gas station on West Main Street in Olney pleaded guilty to illegal dumping of hundeds of tires and were fined $500 each, court documents show.
Mark Brandon Corwin and Rosanna Cruz Corwin entered the plea agreements on Nov. 15, court documents show. They were also were ordered to pay $350 each in court costs, the documents show.
The City of Olney recently removed the giant tire piles in the front and rear of the abandoned gas station after a years’-long tangle with state and federal environmental agencies.
