City sends out trucks for Clean-Up Week

The City of Olney held its annual Clean-Up week the first week in May with heavy trucks and bulldozers picking up the results of residents’ spring cleaning. The Public Works Department tried a new plan this year, in which they split up into two teams that covered the north and south sides of town, City Administrator Arpegea Pagsuberon said. “From what I understand it went a lot smoother, and we had fewer people calling to say their stuff wasn’t picked up,“ she said.
