Call to Action: Sign Up for Emergency Notifications

During the recent severe weather outbreak the staff of Olney ISD did an excellent job in following standard response protocol. Students were tended well. As it is an ongoing endeavor to evaluate and update safety and disaster plans, we conduct follow up to review protocols. It was noted that communication, while functional during the storms, could be improved. In light of this we have increased and enhanced communication within the District and set up an Olney ISD Remind notification account for those within and outside of the District. This account will be used sparingly for only emergency notifications that impact the entire district. Sign up information is noted below, will be on our website, and a component of yearly student registration. This is for all members of our community and district.
