Every year, Olney High School has a bonfire for homecoming. But this year, when it should shine brightest, it will be a flicker in comparison. Why is that, you might ask?
Someone decided to light that bonfire early, searing the hearts of the students that look forward to this time-honored tradition.
It is not too late to rebuild. If we come together as a community and give as much lumber as can be spared to recreate that bonfire, we can still make the homecoming bonfire a towering inferno of support.
If you would like to contribute to the bonfire, you are asked to hold onto the lumber and email Shannon Rodriguez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
