Air Tractor delivers 1,000th plane to Brazil family farm

Air Tractor delivered Serial No. 1,000 AT-802 to the family of late Brazilian farmer Moacir Smaniotto in the Sorriso, Mato Grosso Brazil on Jan. 26. Moacir and Cirlei Smaniotto started their farming operation 43 years ago, and their three children are involved in the farming operation, Grupo Moacir Smaniotto Agronegocios. Annually, the operation plants 139,910 acres with the help of the AT-802: 27,000 hectares of soybeans, 16,000 hectares of corn and 10,000 hectares of cotton. A hectare is 2.47 acres.
