Time-Honored Tradition Continues at Cumberland Presbyterian

The Living Nativity Scene at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church has long been a much-loved tradition in Olney. People come from all over to enjoy and witness the reenactment of the birth of Jesus Christ. It takes an army of volunteers to make this honored tradition a success. The following are the volunteers who braved the chilly night so that the community could enjoy the living nativity scene. Many others not mentioned played supporting roles as well.

Actors and actresses were: (First shift) Mary-Bri Beason; Joseph-Wade Beason; Nativity angel-Hadley Campos; Angels-Aralyn Aleman, Harper Campos, and Aria Pannell; Shepherds-Jaxxon Laurent, Rocket Lauren, Bowen Snyder, Griffen Snyder and Sawyer Snyder; Wise men-Dustin Campos, Jeb Carpenter, and Jeff Snyder.

(Second shift): Mary-Jolie Winder; Joseph-Ben Norris; Manger angels: Gena Virgen an Italia Virgen; Angels-Laney Kimbro, Bailey Spurlock, and Madison Spurlock; Shepherds-Isaac Johnson, Jameson Johnson, Jackson Spurlock, and Parker Spurlock; Wise men-Adrian Gonzalez, Julius Key, and Logan Norris.

(Third shift): Mary-Mallory Jeske; Joseph-Ashton Burns; Manger angels-Delilah Rodgers; Angels-Leigha Hampton, Caroline Jeske, and Jenna Winder; Shepherds- Denis Geter, Lucas Geter, Trey Geter, Skylar Rodgers, and Christian Winder; Wise men-Kanton Rodgers, Lucas Rodgers, and Matt Rodgers.
