OHH Auxiliary votes on 2023 slate of officers

On Jan. 11, the Olney Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary met for their first meeting of the year to appoint officers voted on at the November meeting as presented by the Nominating Committee. The slate of officers was sworn in by Walter Spears who is also an auxiliary member. Needless to say, he was honored to be chosen for this job.

Other notable highlights discussed and voted on at this meeting: Dues have been $10/year for many years. Raising dues to $20/year was discussed and passed.

The Atrium Gift Shop is currently open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. It will be open one evening a week to serve the evening crew at the hospital and anyone else who would like to shop. Hours to be determined.

Attendance at the Chamber Banquet was discussed, and the auxiliary will reserve a table for auxiliary members who would like to attend.

Most notable report at the meeting? Auxiliary members worked 3,311 hours in 2122!!! Some auxiliaries across the state are yet to get back to full working hours.
