A night at the ballet

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Graham Concert Association is hosting the ballet “The Ugly Duckling” performed by students of Ballet Austin Academy. Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door. The Memorial Auditorium is located at 628 3rd St. in Graham. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

The Ballet Austin Academy is the official ballet school of Ballet Austin and serves more than 900 students every year. Jimmy Orrante, the choreographer, has more than 22 years of experience as a professional dancer.

Ballet Etiquette: Silence or turn off cell phones. Do not talk during the performance. Notify the usher about disruptive guests. Ballet Austin does not allow cameras or recording equipment.
