Graham Regional Theatre Presents: “A Christmas Carol”

Dec. 6 through Dec. 15, the Graham Regional Theatre will be performing “A Christmas Carol.” This production is a much-loved tradition that many locals look forward to seeing each year..

During a recent dress rehearsal, I had the opportunity to view the play. Christian Sanders puts on a masterful performance. Along with a cast of very talented actors and actresses the play’s quality was equivalent to the talent you would find in a Broadway play.

Although all of the troupe’s performances were spot on and will have you transported back in time, the maid played by Claire Adams is a performance I always love to see. Her acting of a poor English maid is an extremely believable performance that should not be missed.

Christian Sanders as Scrooge can only be described as masterful. It is the best Scrooge performance I have seen. Even when others are performing you can see his reactions to what he is witnessing, which gives legitimacy to what is going on.

Fred, played by Andrew Jonas was one of my favorites ,and he is just an extremely talented actor who will have you grinning ear to ear during his performance.

The list of accolades unfortunately is way too long to give due credit to each of the cast members with the limited amount of space to write this review. This play is a mustsee and will soon become a holiday tradition for your family once you have the joy of watching the exceptional skills of the actors and actresses during thier performance. Dates and times are Dec. 6 through Dec. 15 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
