My Nickel’s Worth

Dasvidaniya

Goodbyes are never easy, and being the sentimental guy that I am, I try to avoid them as much as possible.

With that said, this will be my last Nickel’s Worth, as I say goodbye to the Olney community and the Olney Enterprise staff.

During the last two years, I have learned so much. Ronni, thank you for always pushing me to be the best editor I could be. None of this would’ve been possible without you, and I would not have had this opportunity if not for you. The Olney Enterprise is in good hands.

Will, your dedication to our families and school has been amazing. You always go above and beyond for the community and nobody in this world loves Olney more than you do. You are so dedicated to your craft and are present at every Olney event that you can be.

Lori, thanks for all you do to keep everyone going. You are one of the hardest workers I have ever met. You always strive for excellence and I know you will continue to do great things. Mrs. Perry, thanks for taking a chance on a young editor and giving me my first real job. I will forever be grateful and appreciative to you for making me the editor of the Olney Enterprise.

As I move full time to Tulsa with my wife, who is in medical school, I will never forget the wonderful opportunity given to me by this paper and the wonderful welcome from this town. Until next time, Olney. Best wishes to you all.
