Sue Hall Haynie

Sue Hall Haynie of Denver Colorado, age 83, passed away on November 2nd at the family home she shared with her daughter Holly Haynie Butler, her son in law Davis Smith Butler and much loved grandchildren Harris, Avery and Collin.  After a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease, Sue passed surrounded by the love of her family and cherished friends.  She was the daughter of the late A.D. Hall and Mattie Sue Hall of Westover, Texas, Sue was born May 12, 1934. Sue graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1955. She was preceded in death by her most loved husband Robert L. Haynie of 52 years and her beloved brother Glen Harris Hall.  She will be remembered for her generous heart, her elegant style, and her clever wit. She was an amazing wife, loving mother and grandmother. As a gifted  teacher, she made a possitive impact on the students she taught.  The life she lived and the love she shared left it’s mark on all she held dear.
