Lifters compete at Archer City meet

The newly returning Olney High School Girls’ powerlifting team traveled to Archer City on Feb. 1 to compete in an invitational meet with the team as a whole having great results.
Senior Sodanita Roath placed first and is ranked first in state in the 123 pound weight class with a total lift of 580 pounds.
Senior Makayla Torres sits at fifth in the region in the 198 pound weight class with a total lift of 680 pounds.
Freshman Jordyn Petty is in seventh in the region in the 198 pound weight class with a total lift of 615 pounds.
Freshman Aubree Englishbee is ranked eighth in the region in the 165 pound weight class with a total lift of 515 pounds.
Sophomore Morgan Simmons also competed in the meet.
