William (Bill) Frederick Schroeder II passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Weatherford, Texas. Bill was born May 7, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Gilbert and Marion Schroeder.

Bill was an Army veteran stationed in Germany. Following his honorable discharge, Bill moved to Midland, Texas, in 1964 and worked for Sherwin Williams Paint Company. He met his first wife, Ann, and they relocated with Sherwin Williams to Arlington, where he managed multiple stores.

In 1976, Bill moved his family to Weatherford and opened Color Center. After closing the Color Center in 1988, Bill was employed by the Glidden Paint Company and held multiple roles within the company from marketing to sales. He retired from ICI in 2008, after 20 years of service, at the age of 65.

Bill is preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Schroeder; a sister, Linda Jackson; and his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Paula; son William (Trey) Frederick Schroeder III and wife, Amy, and their children, William, Bennett, Catherine and Elizabeth; stepson Jeff Dalrymple and wife, Summar, and their daughter, Kennah; stepdaughter Lesley Doll and husband, John, and their son, Ryan; brothers Gary and Steve and multiple nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. in Restland Cemetery in Olney.
