Anna-Lynn Anderson, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home. A private (family-only) graveside service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, with Frank Stearns officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Anna-Lynn was born on Aug. 7, 1956, in Westhaven, Conn., to Donald Joseph Trufan, Sr. and Assunta “Sue” Pascarella Trufan. She married Darryl Wayne Anderson I in Hialeah, Fla. She was the Co-Owner and Office Manager of Team Pride Extrusions in Megargel, Texas, where she was a patient, caring and encouraging boss.

Family meant everything to Anna- Lynn. She was the most devoted, loving wife, and a mother who beamed with pride and always offered a listening ear. She was a selfless and kindhearted grandmother who could always be seen supporting her grandchildren at their events. She was the kind of daughter every mother wishes they had and was known for regular walks with her mother. She was a caring sister, always willing to give and be inquisitive to understand every angle of a topic of discussion.

Anna-Lynn was a woman of true class and elegance. She was strong in her faith and believed in forgiveness and nonjudgment. She was a beautiful soul inside and out with a heart of gold. She never demanded the spotlight, but was always the backbone whether at home or the business.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Joseph Trufan, Sr.

Survivors include: her mother, Sue Trufan of Olney, Texas; her husband, Darryl Wayne Anderson I of Olney, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Christina A. and Stacy Jones of Katy, Texas; one son, Darryl Wayne Anderson II of Olney, Texas; one sister, Sandy Castillo of Keller, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald J. Trufan, Jr., and his wife Elaine of North Fort Myers, Fla. and Joey Trufan and his wife Jennifer of Chillicothe, Texas; five grandchildren, Saige, Daxton, and Dossen Anderson of Windthorst, Texas, Shelby Jones of Katy, Texas, and Faika “Jones” of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
