Rodney Nantz, director at The Refuge and Olney Enterprise columnist, spoke to attendees at the Olney Ministerial Alliance community luncheon on March 26.

Mr. Nantz, who hosts a Men’s Bible Study at 6 a.m. on Friday at The Refuge, spoke about Paul proclaiming in Romans 1:4 that Jesus Christ was “declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

“That is to say that Jesus Christ fulfilled all of the righteous demands of God’s perfect law.

“Therefore, His sacrifice was accepted by God the Father and the empty tomb is proof of this.

“Paul further adds concerning this in 1 Corinthians 15:3, ‘For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.’” Photo by Candy Blair
