Kristin Michelle McClatchy and Seth Lorin Mueller of Grapevine were united in marriage on Nov. 1 at the historic YWCA in Fort Worth. The formal Christian ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Jelani Lewis. The bride is the daughter of Donald Scott and Barbara McClatchy of Fort Worth, and the granddaughter of Neva McClatchy of Olney. The groom is the son of Phil E. Mueller of Lake Jackson and Elizabeth Ann Medlin of Porterville, Calif. His grandparents are Mary Jacoby of Clovis, N.M., and Jeanette Mueller of Ridgefield, Wash. Guests were greeted by formal vintage decor featuring lace, tulle, white hydrangea, roses, baby's breath, lanterns and candles throughout the ceremony space. The bride and groom have traveled individually to various places in the United States, Europe, South America and Africa with missionary work, so the theme was the world map and travel. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white lace, strapless gown by the Spanish designer Pronovias. The fit-and-flare dress had a lace train and was embellished with silver and pearl bands under the bodice. She carried a loose European hand-tied collection of jumbo white hydrangea, white O'Hara garden roses, champagne roses with baby's breath and seeded eucalyptus. The stems were wrapped with grosgrain ribbon and lace with pearl pins. Maid of honor was Meredith McClatchy of Fort Worth, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kaci McClatchy Creel of Olney, cousin of the bride; Natalie Mueller of New York City, sister of the groom; and Erica McMains, friend of the bride. The bride's attendants wore full-length Allure strapless gowns of dusty rose chiffon. Each of them carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, champagne roses, seeded eucalyptus and baby's breath. Best man was Robert Willis of Denton, lifelong friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jay White of Austin, lifelong friend of the groom; Justin Mueller of Wimberly, brother of the groom; and Bobby Wright, friend of the groom. Ronald J. Tilton II, friend of the groom, served as usher. House party members were Saphrin Pediford and Heather Martin, friends of the bride. The ceremony music was ministered by Pastor James and Holly Brown. After the ceremony, the reception was also held at the Historic YWCA of Fort Worth. Guests enjoyed a dinner, dancing, fun and fellowship, with music by the Joint Ventures Band of Denton. The bride attended Lake Country Christian School. She graduated Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., with a bachelor of music - vocal performance. She is the ministry coordinator of leaders and groups at the Gateway Church in Frisco. The groom graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in business administration and is pursuing an MBA from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. He is in revenue management with American Airlines. Following a wedding trip to Barcelona, Spain, and a cruise of the Mediterranean Sea, the couple is at home in Grapevine.
