Very few incidents were reported in Olney during the weekend after an Arctic cold front met with a mass of moisture and dumped freezing rain, sleet and snow on the area. Olney ISD canceled classes Friday, Dec. 6, due to dangerous road conditions that stuck around until later Sunday, Dec. 8. On Monday, Dec. 9, school began at 10 a.m. No accidents, injuries or major problems were reported due to the hazardous and frigid conditions.
