Hamilton Hospital will host its annual Health Fair from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Civic Center. This year's event will feature flu shots, free blood work, car seat checks, carotid doppler screens and more. A number of vendors in health-related fields will be present with goods and services to demonstrate. Flu vaccines will be offered at a cost of $20, and free lab work begins at 7 a.m. Evenyone wishing to have lab work done is reminded to fast for 12 hours prior to the blood draw. Free car seat inspections with Olney EMS begin at 8 a.m. and free carotid dopplers start at 9 a.m. Vendors on the schedule to be at the health fair include Graham Hearing Center, Juice +, Olney Police Department, Air Evac, Olney Chamber of Commerce, Beyond Faith Homecare and Rehab, Hospice of Wichita Falls, North Texas Regional Planning Commission, Modern Woodmen, Relay for Life, Olney Wellness Center - Massage Therapy, Texas Oncology, Integracare Home Health, Horizon Bay, Texhoma Medical Services, Heritage Program, Cub Drug, Hamilton Hospital laboratory, Pink Ladies, Olney Area Retired Teachers, Dr. Jeremy Johnson, Dr. Aaron Purdy, Hamilton Hospital Foundation, Olney Healthcare, Grace Care Center, Thrive PT, Hamilton Hospital nursing, Olney Family Dentistry, Area Agency on Aging, The Atrium and Healthsouth Rehab Center. The hospital will also hold a health fair at the NISD Community Room in Newcastle from 7-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, and at Mustang Hall in Megargel from 7:30-11 a.m.
