The "Amazing Love" of the Lord will be on display during the annual March for Jesus on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Lineup for the parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Tommy Perkins Memorial Park and the parade begins at 11 a.m. Christians of all ages are invited to walk, ride or decorate a float and participate to show that "Olney belongs to Jesus."
The parade route will take participants from the park on S. Ave. C to Main Street before turning west. Marchers will follow Main Street west to Ave. J, where they will turn south and then toward the east on Hamilton St. The parade will remain on Hamilton St. until it gets to the First Baptist Church parking lot, where the Wichita Falls Glory Bound Christian Motorcycle Association Drill Team will give a performance. Afteward, the parade will continue to the Civic Center.
A free barbecue dinner will follow the march at the Civic Center on S. Ave. D, with activities to include Christian speakers, gospel music, testimonies, gifts and more.
