A group of Olney citizens hoping to pay to fill the municipal pool with treated water from the city of Graham moved one step closer to achieving that goal after the Monday, June 10, meeting of the Olney City Council, but still must wait a week before collecting funds. City Council members heard a proposal from the group, but instructed the city administrator to seek more information from the Texas Department of Health, the city of Graham and the company that has volunteered to haul the water at no cost before a called meeting next week. Read more about the meeting, and exactly what the group is proposing, in this week's edition of The Olney Enterprise.
