This project consists of furnishing all labor and materials, equipment, and building systems for the General Building Construction for an overall project consisting of a renovation of Olney ISD High School Restrooms and miscellaneous upgrades.
The CMaR will receive sealed proposals for the construction of the project to be under one contract from Santa Rosa Construction Co. acting as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR)at the Olney ISD Administration Building, 809 W. Hamilton, Olney, Texas 76374 until 10:00 o’clock a.m., C.D.T., Thursday, May 30th, 2013. Proposals will be publicly opened and the names read aloud at that time. Any proposal received after said closing time will be returned unopened.

Plans and Project Manual with Specifications may be obtained by Bonafide Proposers from the Architect’s office upon payment of a $100.00 deposit for each set of documents in accordance with the Instructions to Proposers.
One (1) complete set of plans and specifications may be obtained by Contractors qualified to bid upon receipt of deposit of One Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($100.00). Subject deposits being refunded upon return of the Drawings and Specifications in good condition within five (5) days after receipt of bids. Other plan rooms will be furnished complete plans and specifications without deposit, upon written request. Partial sets of Plans for use of SubContractors are available and may be purchased for a charge of $3.00 per sheet, and 35 cents per page of specification. Separate checks will be required for deposit plans and purchased plans.
All checks for plans and specifications : made payable to Santa Rosa Construction Co., Construction Manager At Risk. All plans and specifications obtained by deposit or purchase are the property of the Architect and must be returned upon completion of the bidding or work.
Proposal Guaranty in the amount of 5% of the Base Proposal in the form of Cashier’s Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond shall accompany the proposal: made payable unconditionally to Santa Rosa Construction Co.
No proposer may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids.
The successful proposer may be required to furnish the Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the Contract written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as required by Article 5160, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas. He will also be required to furnish an insurance certificate showing that he has all the insurance required by the Contract Documents.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities.
